The year 2018 is going to be as good as 2017 and may offer double-digit returns to investors on the back of earnings recovery, says S Krishna Kumar, head of equity at Sundaram Mutual Fund. The fund manager believes sectors like infra including, EPC, construction, cement, domestic cyclicals, corporate-focused banks and agro commodity stocks will do well in 2018. “Infrastructure sector has a lot of tailwinds; order books are swelling, revenues are picking up, profitability improving, balance sheets are getting restored,” Mr Kumar said.
