No country except India has women heading 40 percent of banking sector

ICICI Bank CEO, Chanda Kochhar, on Wednesday said that barring India, there is no country where 40 percent of the banking sector is headed by women. ?There is no other country in the world other than India where 40% of the banking sector is headed by women?, Kochhar asserted. She was addressing a gathering during the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017 being held in Hyderabad. ICICI Bank is India’s largest private sector bank.
