Datuk Mohd Najib Abdullah, Group MD of MIDF (Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Berhad) talks on how the group is evolving in its support provided to Malaysian companies over the years, to focus on economic priorities set out by the government.
MIDF is an investment holding company, provides finance, leasing, and industrial hire-purchase services to industries and businesses in Malaysia. It has long played an important role in helping the government and MITI to restructure the economy. To date, they are providing a total of RM13.3 billion of financing to some 10,400 Malaysian companies, to help them expand their business within the country and also to the ASEAN region.
