Asia’s first instant dessert manufacturer Bean and Beans is maintaining competitiveness by absorbing the six percent Goods and Services Tax (GST). This assures a sales target of some 2 million bowls of sweet soup or “tong sui” flooding the local market by year’s end.
Fully certified with ISO 22000, the Standard Control Point Hazard Analysis and Criticism (HACCP), and Halal from the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), Bean and Beans is also selling in Singapore, Indonesia and the Middle East. Europe is next.
Locally Bean and Beans is available at 7-Eleven, 99 Speedmart, Giant supermarket and Cold Storage. Their factory in Bandar Puncak Alam currently produces up to 100,000 bowls per day.
