Shanghai’s AI (artificial intelligence) industry revenue will hit 100 billion yuan (US$15.2 billion) by 2020, likely becoming the city’s new growth engine, top government officials said today. It will become such a big market because AI is set to integrate with many sectors, including finance, transportation, agriculture, healthcare and medical and automotive industries.
